Important Notes: The headliners in this table are aftermarket conversion style headliners that are pre-sewn and tailored to fit this specific model. Your existing headliner as well as any stays between card board panels must be discarded. The headliners also include the bows (rods) to support the suspended headliner. The bows must be fitted to roof of car, so measuring and drilling is required. The Headliner is stretched in place, and the edges trimmed and finished much like a conventional headliner installation found in a vintage car.
These Non-Factory Style Aftermarket Conversion Headliners (inside roof covers) fit the 1960 thru 1964 Ford Country Squire 4-Door Station Wagon only.
Original Material(s): Single Hole Perforated Vinyl and Tier Grain Vinyl are factory original headliner materials for these Country Squire model years. Although these headliners are aftermarket conversion style headliners, the materials from which they are made are a match to factory original materials, so that your headliner will look as close to original as possible.
Headliner Only: You will receive a ready-to-install headliner; no sewing is required for the headliner. You will also receive extra matching material to allow you to re-cover your sun visors; sewing will be necessary to re-cover your sun visors.
These Automotive Interior Headliners include a
3-year (36-month) warranty from the manufacturer. Please see our
Warranty page for more details.
(1) What vehicle does this headliner fit?
This headliner is specifically made for the 1960 through 1964 Ford Country Squire 4-door station wagon.
(2) What type of headliner is this — factory-style reproduction or aftermarket conversion?
It is an aftermarket conversion-style headliner (non-factory style). That means it’s pre-sewn and designed for retrofit installation, not a direct OEM-style board replacement.
(3) What package options are available, and what does it include?
For these models, we offer the Headliner Only option — you receive the pre-sewn headliner and all supporting bows (rods). You will need to remove your old headliner and discard any existing cardboard panels/stays; installation requires measuring, drilling, stretching the headliner, trimming edges, and finishing. You also receive extra matching material to re-cover your sun visors, which requires sewing.
(4) What materials are used, and do they match original-style headliner materials?
The headliner is offered in Single Hole Perforated Vinyl or Tier Grain Vinyl — both of which were among the original factory headliner materials for the 1959 Country Sedan. Thus, although the headliner is non-factory style, the materials are chosen to match the OEM look.
(5) Are installation hardware and mounting components included, and what must I reuse or supply myself?
The kit includes the bows (rods) required to support the new headliner. However, it does not include metal mounting hardware for sun visors (bars or brackets) — if you want to re-use or install sun visors, you must supply or reuse your existing mounting hardware. Additionally, because this is a conversion-style installation, your original headliner and any cardboard panel stays must be removed prior to installation.
