The XK120 roadster was launched after Jaguar dropped their "SS" moniker from their model names and it received a lot of success after its launch at the 1948 London Motor Show. At the time of its release it was the fastest production car in the world. The XK was the name of the new Jaguar engine and the "120" portion of its name stood for the max speed that the sports car's initial aluminum body could reach. With two-seats, this speedy little beauty was a lot of fun and was made even more popular when the legendary Clark Gable himself purchased the first one out of production.
