The Jaguar E-Type is one of their most renowned sports cars of all time. Heralded by many as the most beautiful car ever made, it made even more impact because it was coupled with high performance and a competitive price tag. The Series 3 E-Type was the last production line and took the sports car the farthest with standard power. Inspired by the racing engine from the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Jaguar produced a V12 engine that output 187 kW (254 hp) and had a top speed of 135 mph. The Series 3 had a longer wheelbase, which yielded more room overall. It was released in an open two seater (OTS) roadster convertible and a 2+2 coupe. Although it never achieved the same popularity as the Series 1, it was still successful and competitive.
